Welcome to Serenity Haven Kennel. We would like to take this opportunity to share with you a little bit about ourselves.

         We have three children, that enjoy our animals as much as we do. We started off with two pugs, Dozer and Snickers. As they grew, we found how much we loved them and they gave to enrich our lives.

         Tania had driven a school bus for 11 years. After the two youngest children were in school full time, God guided her decision into the animal science field. She became a Certified Vet Tech and worked this field for several years before making the change into the kennel area. After working in a kennel, she became a kennel manager and loved it so much that she felt that is where she was suppose to be. Tania continued to get more education in the animal field.She has a degree in Animal Science, two certifications with the American Boarding and Kennel Association: Levels 1 and 2 Advance Canine Care Specialist.

        Mike had worked in the carpet industry for 23 years. After we got the first two pugs, he found that he loved them just as much. He visited the kennel Tania worked for. Mike has loved animals all of his life and wanted a change. He decided to leave the carpet industry to devote full time to working in a field he loves. All this is what brought us to making the decision to breed dogs full-time.

        We decided to move from Northern Va to Central Va where we bought 12 acres in Pamplin (about 30 miles east of Lynchburg). We have spent much time and energy building a kennel, play yards and nursery where our dogs can be well cared for and kept clean and happy. They love us as much as we love them. We hope this helps you know us a little better.
